ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN: Help our children soar!
Nightingale Montessori’s Annual Fund is the primary way in which parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends make regular financial gifts to our unique school. Your gift supports initiatives that tuition alone does not cover* giving both our students and faculty the necessary tools to spur personal growth and discovery.
Your gift to the Annual Fund provides vital support for such things as:
Your recurring donations throughout the year make a difference in the life of the school.
*Note: The average per-pupil expenditure for the State of Ohio in 2026 = $16,069.
Nightingale’s per-pupil tuition = $9,968.
To make up the difference, we depend on philanthropic support.

THE SAMANTHA J. WELSH TUITION SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR INFANTS & TODDLERS: Fund a scholarship with a minimum donation of $25,000. (This can be achieved through a one-time gift or a multi-year gift. (Pre-schools are not funded by the State.)
OTHER NAMED CHAIRS: To establish a named endowment fund of $50,000 or greater. (This can be achieved through a one-time gift or a multi-year gift.)
GIFT OF STOCK: If you wish to make a gift in the form of a stock, bond or mutual fund transfer, please email Nancy Nightingale Schwab nschwab@nightingaleschool.org for instructions.
QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION (QCDs): A tax-free donation from an IRA to a qualified charity that can count toward an IRA owner's required minimum distribution (RMD). QCDs are available to IRA owners who meet certain age requirements. (While the QCD amount is not taxed, you may not also claim the distribution as a charitable tax deduction.)
TRIBUTE GIFT: You may make gifts in honor of or in memory of a special person.
LEGACY GIFTS: The simplest way to leave assets to Nightingale Montessori is through your will or living trust. You can create your legacy plan by setting up fund distributions that occur after your lifetime.
Consult your financial advisor or check with your fund administrator on how you can name Nightingale Montessori as a beneficiary of your donor advised fund after your lifetime. A simple sentence in your will or living trust helps ensure that Nightingale Montessori can
