I just wanted to extend our sincere thanks. We have never seen Austin come home so happy after school. I think we have finally found his happy place and the ticket that works for him! Everyone is commenting how calm things are, the “hum” in the house. Most days he reports that all he did was “play” all day, but that’s shortly followed by talk of what he has learned or science experiments that he’s done. Yesterday was all about an experiment, another day he was excited to ask me if I knew what years were in the 18th century. He said, “I’ll give you a hint, it’s not the 1800’s like you probably think.”

Communications and expressive speech have been a bit tough for him. But I’m grateful to have the hour drive home to hear more and more and him trying to find ways to explain it. I was so surprised how easily the talk flowed about the experiment yesterday. He even admitted that he told the Falcon teacher he’s never been to such a fun school. I’m very grateful to find all of you and look forward to the years ahead.
